Available Programs Include: • Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP) – Support for livestock deaths or reduced sales. • Emergency Assistance (ELAP) – Compensation for feed and grazing losses. • Tree Assistance Program (TAP) – Help to replant or rehabilitate trees, bushes, and vines. • Farm & Emergency Loans – Low-interest loans to replace property, buy equipment, cover family living costs, or refinance farm debt. • Emergency Conservation & Forest Restoration – Aid to restore farmland, forests, fencing, and remove debris. • Risk Management Options – NAP and federal crop insurance for crop damage.
Deadlines & Action Steps: • Report losses to your local FSA office as soon as it’s safe. • Notices of loss for 2025 damages due March 2, 2026. • For NRCS watershed protection, local sponsors must request help within 60 days of the disaster or site access.
