This collaboration expands opportunities nationwide, supporting education, sustainable practices, and innovation while preparing the next generation of agricultural leaders.

How We Bring NIFA Resources to Farmers

The USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture provides leadership and funding for programs that drive agricultural innovation, from scientific research to farmer training.

NLFR ensures that producers—especially those from underserved communities—have access to these opportunities. Our focus areas include:

• Education & Capacity Building – Training in farm management, water conservation, and emerging agricultural technologies.

• Community Engagement – Connecting farmers and ranchers with local, state, and national resources to support success.

• Leadership Development – Equipping the next generation of agricultural leaders to guide their communities and shape the industry.
