Stay informed and up to date with USDA’s key program deadlines and office closures. Below you’ll find important dates for holiday closures, crop assistance, and acreage certifications to help you plan ahead and stay compliant with USDA requirements:

2026 Applications for Coverage for NAP
• September 30, 2025: Oats
• November 20, 2025: Apples
• December 31, 2025: Mixed Forage, Native Grass, and Honey
Crop Acreage Reporting
• July 15 is a major deadline for most crops.
Non-Insured Crop Assistance Program
Notice of Loss Deadlines:
• 15 calendar days after the normal harvest date
• 15 calendar days of when the loss become apparent
2026 Acreage Certification
• December 16, 2025: Native Grass (Grazing)
OFFICE CLOSURES for National Holidays
• October 13, 2025: Columbus Day
• November 11, 2025: Veterans Day
• November 27, 2025: Thanksgiving Day
• December 25, 2025: Christmas Day
