Youth Mentoring

We know that the future of the planet rests in the hands of our children. We work with youth through their schools and various leadership institutes to expose kids and young adults to the varied career opportunities in small business farming.

Networking and Collaboration

For over 13 years, the National Latino Farmers and Ranchers Trade Association has been a hub for collaboration amongst members within the USA and beyond. We have formed solid partnerships with a number of Latino Organizations and Farmworker organizations. We hold annual conferences to build from these relationships for policy and for business.

Revolving Fund for Land Acquisition

Everyone needs an opportunity to grow. The revolving fund for land acquisition is seed money that gives many farmworkers to only opportunity they may have to acquire their own land and move from being farmworkers to farm-owners.

Annual Conference

The First Annual Conference “Sembrando Raices” was in Las Cruces, New Mexico 2005 see the powerpoint of that Conference click here. This year the National Latino Farmers will collaborate with the Rural Coalition to host the Community Based Organization (CBO) Small Farm, Rural & Food Outlook Forum and Annual Gala Dinner, November 2014 in Washington, DC.
